Events

Every claim here has an organiser you can check.

A portfolio is easy to write and hard to trust. So each event below carries the organiser’s own website, what the event actually is, what I was contracted to do, and the coverage as it was published at the time. Open a card and check any of it.

The greatest sneaker show on earth · first Qatar edition

Sneaker Con Doha

2026 · Doha Exhibition & Convention Centre, Qatar · Production & operations

Organiser

Sneaker Con is the world’s largest sneaker and streetwear marketplace, and 2026 was its first edition in Qatar — hosted by Visit Qatar across 7,000+ sqm and seven zones, from the main stage and skate park to the basketball court. My employer’s first multi-year IP delivery in that market, and I was on production and operations for it.

A city-scale public Ramadan programme

Ramadan in Al Ain

2026 · Al Ain City Municipality Square, UAE · Production delivery

Organiser

Al Ain City Municipality’s Ramadan programme runs the length of the month on the municipality square — heritage markets, nightly family programming and community events, drawing more than 30,000 visitors. A multi-week run rather than a single show day, which is a different production problem: everything has to strike, reset and open again every night.

Product, innovation and UX · the Startup World Cup regional

DDX Dubai

2026 · Dubai Silicon Oasis, UAE · End-to-end delivery

Organiser

A two-day product, innovation and UX conference at Dubai Silicon Oasis, and the regional round of the Startup World Cup — its winner pitches at the Silicon Valley grand final for a $1M investment prize. Delivered end to end alongside the MIT DesignX Dubai accelerator programme running out of the same campus.

The UAE’s largest flower festival

Al Ain Flower Festival

2025–26 · Al Sarooj Park, Al Ain, UAE · Production delivery

Organiser

Al Ain City Municipality turns Al Sarooj Park into an open-air garden of more than a million flowers — themed gardens, floral sculptures, an eight-metre spiral tower and an interactive rose tunnel, free to enter and open nightly. Structures, landscaping, staging and site build, across a three-month lead-in to a fixed public opening date.

The world’s largest tech and AI show

GITEX Global

2023 · 2024 · 2025 · Dubai World Trade Centre, UAE · Government delegations & VIP key accounts

Organiser

GITEX Global is the largest technology and AI event in the world, and the 2025 edition was its 45th — five days across the whole of the Dubai World Trade Centre. Three consecutive editions on the government delegations and VIP key accounts programme, hosting delegations from 140+ countries. 98% meeting conversion held as the benchmark across my programmes; that is my own programme figure, not a published organiser statistic, and I can show the counts.

The first European edition of GITEX, ever

GITEX Europe

2025 · Messe Berlin, Germany · Government delegations & VIP key accounts

Organiser

GITEX’s first ever European edition, held at Messe Berlin in May 2025 and organised by KAOUN International, the Dubai World Trade Centre’s international arm. It opened with 1,434 exhibiting companies, 755 startups and 21,650 attendees from 125 countries. A first edition has no previous year to copy, which is the whole difficulty and the reason it is worth naming.

Africa’s largest tech and startup event

GITEX Africa

2024 · 2025 · Marrakech, Morocco · Government delegations & VIP key accounts

Organiser

GITEX Africa in Marrakech is the largest technology and startup event on the continent, and the first GITEX ever staged outside the UAE. Two consecutive editions: 2024 contracted through Vibes Events, then 2025 directly with KAOUN International, GITEX’s own organising company. +400% government meetings in my first year on the programme, measured against the previous edition — again my own programme figure rather than a published organiser statistic.

Coverage from the floor 1 reel

Seven programmes here, and they are not the whole record — COP28, the Dubai World Cup, Gulfood, GISEC, the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi after-race concerts and UAE National Day are all on the experience page, and 56 organisations are named on the homepage wall.
